Our Sunshine Story
Sunkiss Smoothies was born from the great COVID shutdown of 2020. After losing his job, Chaz decided he would sell his truck and start his own business doing what he loved — making healthy food for his neighbors. Starting with a tent in Cedar Grove, Chaz launched Sunkiss Smoothies with a small generator and a blender, sticking to his motto to use “Only things grown by the sun.” Sunkiss Smoothies was an immediate hit with locals and tourists alike.
In 2024 Chaz took on a minority investor and opened the flagship location near the cruise ship port in Redcliffe Quay, downtown St. John's.
